The tech behind a live calisthenics championship.
Context
FIBO is the world’s largest fitness and health expo. Its first Arabia edition brought the calisthenics community together in Riyadh — and SANAD joined as the official technical partner for the calisthenics section, alongside Rhythm.
The challenge
A live championship has to register athletes, sort them into categories, and check them in on the day — fast, and without spreadsheets breaking under pressure. An event system either works in front of everyone or fails in front of everyone.
What we built
Registration
Athlete sign-up and the forms behind it, built for the volume a first edition brings.
Categories
Entrants sorted into the right divisions before the day, so nothing had to be untangled on site.
Live check-in
Day-of operations, fast enough to keep a live championship moving.
The outcome
The calisthenics section ran on our system — from the very first registration all the way to the winners on stage.
