Context
Volt reached us through a connection in the Saudi fitness world, while the business was still being shaped. They came for advice — and that’s where we started.
We sat down with them to work through how the business would actually run day to day, because that decides what the technology has to do. Get that part wrong and you build the wrong thing beautifully.

Everything, and all of it new — and every part connected to the others as it was built, not wired together afterwards.

Why starting from nothing helps
Nothing had to be migrated, worked around, or kept alive for the sake of something older. Volt’s systems were designed as one thing, which is why they talk to each other properly — and why adding to them later is cheap rather than painful.
It was also the second time we’d built this shape of business. Rhythm taught us what a gym genuinely needs. Volt got that experience without paying for the learning.
